Notice of Meeting

On the morning of September 13, 2022 a Bland ISD bus driver was notified by a student regarding a possible firearm seen in a students backpack.  The driver immediately separated the student from the backpack and notified Bland ISD PD and school administration.  Inside the backpack an inoperable airsoft handgun was located.  The student has been removed from the school.  Although this incident may have caused alarm, there was never an immediate threat to any student.
