The first day of school for Bland ISD will be Thursday August 8. We ask everyone to be mindful and watch for students that will be next to roadways waiting for transportation to schools. Many of these kids will be experiencing bus rides for the first time and may not understand the procedures. We ask parents to assist first timers riding the bus the first few days. Those drivers who are on the way to or from work please take a few extra minutes, slow down and watch out for students on the side of the road and at the end of driveways.
