BLAND ISD CELEBRATES GROWTH IN 2025 ACCOUNTABILITY RATINGS!!!

Merit, TX – Bland ISD is proud to announce an increase in its overall Texas A-F accountably
scores, reflecting hard work and dedication of our students, staff, and the community. Overall
the 2025 District Rating was an 89 (B), up from an 81. The Elementary rating increased to an 89
(B), up from an 83. The Middle School improved as well, going up to an 83 (B) from an 80. The
High School made the largest gains in the district, taking the rating from an 82 to a 94 (A).
All three campuses also earned distinction designations from the Texas Education Agency:
Bland Elementary – Academic Achievement in Reading/Language Arts, Mathematics, Science,
and Postsecondary Readiness.
Bland Middle School – Academic Achievement in Reading/Language Arts, Social Studies, and
Postsecondary Readiness.
Bland High School – Academic Achievement in Reading/Language Arts, Mathematics, Science,
Social Studies, Postsecondary Readiness, and Top 25% Comparisons Closing The Gaps.
While celebrating these achievements, it’s important to note that state accountability
standards continue to rise, with more complex assessments and greater rigor required to earn
top ratings. Our students, staff, and community have done an outstanding job working towards
the goals of the district and continue to work hard to make sure that every child is making gains
and learning every day. Great Job Tigers!!! So Proud of You!!!!
